Who We are

OPANA provides perianesthesia nurses educational, professional growth, and networking opportunities that benefits members and the community they serve. OPANA is a non-profit professional nursing organization founded in 1979 and is a component of the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN) with membership in Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

OPANA's has six active districts in Ohio : Cincinnati(CAPANA), Columbus(COPANA),  Dayton(DAPANA),  Cleveland (GCPANA), 
Toledo(NOPANA), and the Akron/Canton(NEOPANA) .You can access  information at the District sites.

We had a great OPANA  Virtual State Fall Meeting/Educational Conf. on October 2. 

Members donated to our chosen community service organization of "Freedom Ala Cart," a catering business in Columbus that is run by and supports women into the workforce who are survivors of human trafficking.

In an effort to grow membership, ASPAN will be adding a special incentive to participate in the Member-Get-A-Member campaign during the last four months of 2021 only:
